What is this platform intended to do?
The WRK-1300 is an RK3588 display-board platform that may be evaluated for healthcare information and other explicitly non-diagnostic display functions. It must not be described as a medical device or diagnostic controller without the applicable risk, quality and regulatory evidence.
Which applications may evaluate it?
- patient-information and wayfinding displays;
- staff dashboards and room-status screens;
- education and waiting-area media;
- non-diagnostic equipment interfaces with defined isolation and data boundaries;
What requirements must be defined first?
Define whether the system is medical or non-medical; intended use and users; display and touch requirements; connected equipment; electrical isolation; data handled; cybersecurity controls; cleaning method; enclosure materials; power, environment, software lifecycle and applicable standards.
How should a representative sample be verified?
- Record the exact PCB revision, memory, storage, software image and connected peripherals.
- Run the intended application and representative media or data for an agreed endurance period.
- Test every display, input, network and peripheral interface used in production.
- Interrupt power and network service, then verify controlled recovery, local fallback and resynchronization.
- Measure power and temperature inside the intended enclosure at the expected ambient condition.
- Record pass/fail criteria, deviations, responsible reviewer and approved configuration.
How should software and lifecycle be controlled?
Identify the OS, kernel, BSP, bootloader, application build and update method. Define application signing, administrative access, update rollback, logging, security maintenance and the change-control process for hardware or component substitutions.
How should compliance claims be checked?
Match each report or certificate to the applicant, exact model or assembly, PCB revision, radio module, power supply, enclosure, standard, issue date and destination market. A general CE, FCC, RoHS or other statement is not evidence for every configuration or finished installation.
What is the verification boundary?
This checklist is not evidence of medical-device certification, diagnostic suitability, patient safety or compliance with a particular standard. Such claims require the finished system’s intended use, risk management, test reports and regulatory review.
Review manufacturing quality checkpoints, check published documents, read the engineering review policy, or send the project requirements.
